Purpose and Goals of a Community of Practice

The purpose of the Community of Practice is:

  • engage in a process of collective learning in a shared domain
  • enrich the learning environment for ALL students in Rocky View
  • empower ourselves as professionals to work collaboratively

 

The goals for each Community of Practice are:

1. build relationships that enable each member to learn,

2. develop a shared understanding of current best practice for the 21st Century Learner,

3. commit to develop and implement resources and/or strategies that meet the needs of ALL students in the 21st Century.
