Professional Learning Model

A Culture of Improvement, Innovation, and Excellence

Professional Learning is central to the culture of improvement, innovation and excellence in Rocky View Schools (RVS). The jurisdiction believes that all members of RVS have a critical role and responsibility in the determination of both individual and collective growth. The RVS Professional Learning Model is the foundation of learning as it involves a strong commitment to learning in a multi-faceted Universal Learning Environment (ULE) that is engaging, enriching and empowering. As a 21st Century Learning Organization, it is critical to build capacity through a systemic and generative framework, and establish core standards to guide our critical work in teaching and learning.
